Acn Video Phone Vs Skype

The ACN video phone was used in the March 22 Celebrity Apprentice episode and is endorsed by Donald Trump himself.

As you may have watched Donalt Trump and his show Celebrity Apprentice, they revealed an awesome video phone service allowing people to maintain contact and communicate with people around the world not only by voice, but with video.

The video phone is really cool. You can see the faces of the people you are talking to and they can see you....... provided they have a video phone as well. It will create a more personal interaction for businesses and clients being able to actually show ideas rather than try and explain and leave it to the imagination.

ACN provides video phones and services such as the IRIS 3000 video phone which enables you to send video mail and greetings along with some other cool features. They also provide other services as well, like local and long distance, wireless, satellite TV and home security.

I imagine you're wondering how much it will set you back. The ACN IRIS 3000 video phone costs $99.00 with a 2 year service contract of $29 a month. Which is pretty good in terms of keeping your costs low. Then I began to think ....... Gee this is great, but is there an even more cost effective way to conduct video calls and save even more with this ground breaking technology?

Skype:

If you have not heard of Skype, allow me to introduce. Skype is a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) provider which allows you to communicate with other Skype users for FREE!

If you wish you can get a subscription and get what's called a SkypeIn # so people can actually call a number and reach you or communicate directly through Skype without the SkypeIn # required. There is also SkypeOut which allows you to call landlines and cell phones at unbelievable rates.

They also have many great features as well. Free video calling being one of them which only requires a mic and a web cam acting as a video phone. That might be an option to check into considering web cams are getting more and more advanced every day.

The cool thing about Skype is that it's free to download and if you want to call a skype user, all you need is a headset and mic or web cam to do it. There is also no service agreement unless you get a subscription.

I hope this helps you in you research to saving money in the realm of communication costs.

Be Well
